Every Area Breeds Mosquitoes Differently

Rice paddy, ocean backwaters, urban drains or clifftop water tanks — what breeds mosquitoes changes completely across Bali, and so does the right treatment. Paddy-rich Canggu and construction-heavy Berawa demand heavy larviciding; humid inland Ubud needs year-round control with no dry-season relief; urban Denpasar carries the island's highest dengue load. The area pages below describe what we actually find on the ground in each district — and rates are identical island-wide, listed on the pricing page.

Canggu

Our busiest area — paddy-side villas near Echo Beach and Berawa, where larviciding the rice fields matters as much as fogging.

Seminyak

Lush villa and hotel gardens with ornamental ponds — dense planting fogged, water features larvicided, often on guest-hours programs.

Berawa

Beach clubs, new villas and rice paddy together — a construction-and-paddy hotspot best handled on a fortnightly plan.

Kuta

Dense, low-lying accommodation where street and courtyard drains, not gardens, are the main breeding source.

Ubud

No sea breeze, year-round jungle damp — rivers, water gardens and open villas need steady larviciding all year.

Sanur

Mature garden-heavy beach town with big established ponds and east-coast backwaters, fogged and larvicided with care.

Jimbaran

Bay strip up to hillside villas — treatment tailored to elevation, from mangrove edges to clifftop pools.

Uluwatu

Dry clifftop Bukit where man-made tanks, pools and ponds are the breeding sites — source reduction wins here.

Nusa Dua

Planned resort enclave of lagoons and manicured grounds, run on structured guest-hours programs with reporting.

Denpasar

Bali's urban capital with the island's highest dengue load — drain larviciding and emergency response are key.
