Emergency dengue mosquito fogging at a Bali property

When someone WhatsApps us that a housemate, neighbour or staff member has tested positive for dengue, we treat it as urgent โ€” and so should you. The Aedes aegypti mosquito that carries dengue does not travel far, often less than 100โ€“200 metres in its whole life, so a confirmed case nearby means the infected mosquitoes are almost certainly within range of your home right now. As a technician my emergency protocol is different from a routine visit: I fog hard and wide to knock down every adult I can reach, then immediately larvicide every breeding site so the cycle is broken in one pass, because a single missed container can re-seed the whole area within a week.

What's Included

Rapid Response

We prioritise dengue calls and aim to be on site within 24 hours, often the same day during working hours (06:00โ€“19:00).

Wide-Area Adult Knock-Down

Aggressive thermal fogging of the whole property and, where neighbours agree, the immediate surroundings โ€” Aedes rest in shaded vegetation close to homes.

Immediate Larviciding

Every water-holding site is treated on the same visit so the next generation cannot replace the adults we just killed.

Follow-Up Plan

We recommend a repeat fog 5โ€“7 days later to catch newly emerged adults, and source-reduction steps to protect the household.

How the Treatment Works

  1. Message the priority line

Tell us your area and that there is a dengue case nearby โ€” we move you to the front of the schedule.

  2. Same-day or 24-hour visit

We arrive with fogging and larviciding equipment ready for a single combined treatment.

  3. Fog wide, larvicide everything

Hard adult knock-down across the property plus every breeding site treated in one pass.

  4. Repeat in a week

A follow-up fog 5โ€“7 days later catches the mosquitoes that were still larvae on the first visit.

Pricing in IDR

Emergency dengue response is priced like a combined fog-and-larvicide visit, from IDR 500,000 for a standard villa, with no surcharge for the fast turnaround during working hours. A recommended 5โ€“7 day follow-up fog is quoted at the same time. See the pricing page, and for prevention before a case appears, a monthly plan keeps numbers low year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can fogging cure or prevent dengue?
No โ€” and anyone who promises that is not being honest. Fogging and larviciding significantly reduce the mosquito population and dengue risk around your home, but they cannot guarantee no one gets sick. If you have dengue symptoms (high fever, severe headache, joint pain) see a doctor immediately.
How fast can you come?
We aim for within 24 hours and often manage same-day during working hours. Message us straight away โ€” the sooner we knock the adults down, the fewer onward bites.
Should the neighbours treat too?
Ideally yes. Because Aedes travel only short distances, treating just your property helps, but coordinating with immediate neighbours covers the mosquito's whole range. We can quote a small cluster of homes together.
What can we do right now before you arrive?
Use repellent, wear long sleeves at dawn and dusk, sleep under a net or with AC, and tip out every container of standing water. Our dengue prevention guide has the full checklist.
